The world breaks everyone, and afterward, some are strong in the broken places.

THE FIRST STEP IS . . .  YOU HAVE TO SAY THAT YOU CAN.

Okay, for you die-hard tough Mid-westerners, these pictures are like "meh" so what?  For my friends in California, Missouri and Georgia,   BRRRRRRRRR.  How would you like a nice shot of brisk, blood-stirring 40 degrees below zero chill factor??  I snapped these out of my windows, cause it was too chilly to go out.  In the  back yard pics, it is easier to see the broken trees lying across the creek (from the wind storm last June 30th).  Black and white pics make the debris really stand out.  Anyhoo, it is very white outside.

Speaking of white, I am embarrassed to tell you that I am officially a member of the "White Conspiracy".  You know, that club that I suspect is happening all around us.  People who drive white colored vehicles and belong to a secret society club that us people who drive, say, red cars, don't know about.  Well, Lon and I were talking about our property in Florida, and decided that we are going to sell the car that we bought and  kept at that house for Little Ma to drive whenever we were there.  I just realized . . .  it is WHITE!!!!   WHITE, do you hear me?  I AM PART OF THE CONSPIRACY AND I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE IT!  Wow, that really is a secret club.

I've been  a little busy lately and haven't had much time to put any post on the blog.  Monday I went and got my very last (hopefully) echocardiogram.  It went well.  Then, yesterday, I got my Power Port removed.  That didn't go so bad.  It kinda felt like I had had a bullet removed from my upper chest by my right arm.  Doctor said the tubing came out easily, but the actual port had to be dug out.   I was totally numb, so I didn't feel a thing.  Now, I just have to take those pills for five more years and done.  Easey peasey.  I was really concerned about the weight gain problem as a side effect from this medicine, so we bought a treadmill, and that is really been nice to have.  I don't know how much I am going to keep you guys in the loop, concerning weight gain or loss, since nobody needs to know exactly how pudgy I am. Remember my slogan . . .  IT IS WHAT IT IS.

Keep warm.

                                                      GOD BLESS YOU ALL

    Janene...

... was diagnosed with breast cancer on November 11, 2013. This is a place for all of the people who love and care about her to get the information about her treatment and her personal experience of kicking cancer's ass, (sometimes from her daughter's perspective). It's hard to stand by and not be able to do anything to help. Writing gives my mom an outlet and allows both of us to share information during this time. Therefore, we blog :)
