THE MORE YOU THANK LIFE, THE MORE LIFE GIVES YOU TO BE THANKFUL FOR.

                                                    Unknown

It's the day after Thanksgiving and hope all went well for you all. Jenna, Alec, Cate, and Abby joined Hubby and me for a meal and a good visit. Dan and his wife couldn't make it from Minnesota this time.

A shout out to all you "Black Friday" shoppers. (you do know that you must be a bit nutso to be out in the crowds, right?) Actually, you are probably braver and smarter than I, 'cause you'll get your shopping done before really bad weather hits us.  So, go have fun.

I would like to announce that I bought myself a special present early. It hasn't been delivered yet, since we are still in the process of redoing a small room upstairs into a laundry room. But, yes, I have a new washer and dryer coming! Did I mention that my loyal, hard-working washer and dryer set is over 40 years old? Yup, I said 40. Hubby went and bought it for me the week Jenna was born, since I would have two kids in diapers and didn't want to keep going to the laundromat.  So, it's definitely time.

I must mention that I am really enjoying my  little white, used pick-up (Dough Boy), and haven't even driven my big red SUV since we got it. I tried one day, but it was so huge and uncomfortable that I ended up in Dough Boy, and was very happy, thank you very much. I do feel much more accepted on the road, since almost every other vehicle I meet is also white. I truly came home when I joined the "conspiracy".  hee hee

I would like to make a few notations about the previous post. My Little J's "DAMN" cartoon needs a little explaining. First off, I didn't list Mr. Trump's son-in-law's name correctly. I though it was "Justin", but soon after I learned it was "Jared". Sorry. Also, the picture where Little J is holding the newspaper, she is supposed to look like she is using her arms and hands. For some reason, it looks like she is holding the paper with her toes. Which means, she's got her legs sticking out in front of her. That image is just so wrong in so many ways, ya think?

I thought I would share another "DAMN" moment with you. Enjoy

    Janene...

... was diagnosed with breast cancer on November 11, 2013. This is a place for all of the people who love and care about her to get the information about her treatment and her personal experience of kicking cancer's ass, (sometimes from her daughter's perspective). It's hard to stand by and not be able to do anything to help. Writing gives my mom an outlet and allows both of us to share information during this time. Therefore, we blog :)
