THE NUMBER ONE RULE OF THIEVES IS THAT NOTHING IS TOO SMALL TO STEAL.
                                                                              Jimmy Breslin

I got a phone call last night informing me that my credit card had been compromised. That means that some scumbag had gotten hold of my number and was using it . . . in San Francisco! They had purchased KFC from two different locations (I hope they choked on it!), Overstock.com, a few different small purchases, AND a phone call from a penitentiary. That's right, Folks, some criminal was using  my stolen credit card number to phone home or whatever. Of course, the card company closed that number, and I have to wait ten days or so to get a new one, but what nerve some creep has. Grrrrrrr I asked the lady helping me on the phone with this problem how someone got my number. She said it could have been compromised at a gas station, or store, or by ordering something online. Yes, I had ordered a small part from, well, . . .let's just say the nation's biggest big-box store. She said that that company makes up about 92% of the latest reports  for stolen numbers. Beware what you order online.

And our Little J was not a happy camper either!

OH, I DO need to make a slight correction from my last post. I meant to say "I don't know if any of the bodies were found."  Uh . . . if you haven't read the last entry, you may be wondering what that is all about. Go ahead, scroll back and read it. It's okay.  Hehe  I was having some trouble with my computer and it wouldn't let me go back and do corrections and it kept locking up, so I just printed it like it came out.

Our Woodbridge building is coming along quickly. The weather was fantastic until we started it. Since then it has been raining off and on and part of the site is a mudhole. Hubby put down some rock, fortunately, and that really helps.

Here is the concrete being poured. When the operator from the concrete company was getting the machine in position, he was watching the workers and accidently touched the boom to the power lines! Everything came to a stop. Concrete had been ordered and was on the way. But the pump truck company had to be called and they were going to not let that machine be used. They said it had to be taken to WISCONSIN to be checked out, 'cause if the electrical brain was screwed up, there could be a whole lot of concrete stuck in the hose of a million dollar truck. Fortunately, the company decided to let it be used. WHEW!

Then the side is framed.

And outside skin.  whoo hoo!

And, a bit of info that we all need to remember. Daylight Savings Time starts November 5th. And, it is only about two months until Christmas, so get out there and start shopping. It will be here before we know it!

                                                              GOD BLESS YOU ALL

    Janene...

... was diagnosed with breast cancer on November 11, 2013. This is a place for all of the people who love and care about her to get the information about her treatment and her personal experience of kicking cancer's ass, (sometimes from her daughter's perspective). It's hard to stand by and not be able to do anything to help. Writing gives my mom an outlet and allows both of us to share information during this time. Therefore, we blog :)
