YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT'S AROUND THE CORNER. IT COULD BE EVERYTHING. OR IT COULD BE NOTHING. YOU KEEP PUTTING ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER AND THEN ONE DAY YOU LOOK BACK AND YOU'VE CLIMBED A MOUNTAIN.
Tom Huddleston
Looking back on some of the posts of this blog make me ponder. Sometimes, I think "What the heck was I talking about?" or "Man, that doesn't even make much sense." Or "That was really dumb to write about." Or "I hope that helped someone feel better today." Whatever. But when I look back and see all the different things have happened over the last three years or so, I feel like I have definitely been putting one foot in front of the other to get where I am today.
I have no idea who you all are that read this post, but I figure you found out about it by word of mouth from someone you know. I don't have it listed on any list that describes what the general idea of it is ie: cancer survivor. That's what it started out to be . . . info on how things were going and keeping tabs on whether I was going to live or not. (Spoiler --- I lived). Sorry, a little dark humor there. Then it segued into a diary-like bunch of information about not much. Simple observations in the life of an average person.
What's interesting about this website is that they have a running stats page, to show me how many individual readers there are each day and also the amount of individual pages that were read. I am pleasantly pleased if I average 500 to 3,000 pages read per day. But, then I looked at the stats on July 18th and was surprised to see that it showed 65,366 read pages.
It's pretty obvious that this is an error, unless a whole bunch of people got on their computers and all of them had a marathon reading episode that day. Nah. Most likely a computer glitch at the website headquarters. Whatever. It was funny to see.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
