THE TRUE COURAGE IS FACING DANGER WHEN YOU ARE AFRAID.
Frank Baum
IMPORTANT NOTE: The following is just my feeling about certain things that have occurred in recent days. Each and every one of us Americans has the right to express what we consider our own thoughts and I appreciate the fact that I have the God-given and country-given right to blat whatever I want. No insult or disrespect is intended for any other person who reads this post. Thank you.
Well. The election is over and we are still standing. We have experienced an amazing period of historical events and with luck, we may come out okay. I am still stunned at the hard feelings that both sides are expressing. Ouch. It is going to be an interesting next few months to see exactly what is going to take place. Tuesday night I couldn't stay awake long enough to see who had won the election, but when I woke up at 6:30 Wednesday morning, I immediately turned on the TV. What a shock! I would have never dreamed it. I guess the saying "NEVER SAY NEVER" is true. Nothing is for certain today.
I am a bit concerned about the selections being made for the government positions that will serve under Trump. Again, ouch. Another wait and see moment. Look below and see if this could possibly occur.
Have you heard enough here? Actually, the word "enough" came to my mind while reading Facebook and saw posts from some educated, religious people begging for everyone to please pull together and "make America stronger" (this part was very good), and then the next post they wrote was filled with name-calling and insults about politicians that they did not favor. Enough. In many ways, I've heard enough of people acting in a very bad way. As Trump said many times during the campaign, "There's a lot of really bad, bad people out there."
Sigh. I guess he was finally right about one thing.
Enough.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
AND GOD BLESS OUR GREAT COUNTRY
