HERE'S THE THING ABOUT LUCK. . .YOU DON'T KNOW IF IT'S GOOD OR BAD UNTIL YOU HAVE SOME PERSPECIVE.

Here's another "absolutely-not-important" cartoon about something totally insignificant. I thought brother Evan would be amused.

I think I'll call these bits of drawings my "DAMN" series. Isn't it amazing how important I try to make something  that is completely silly? Sigh. Oh well.

Dan and Tammy came to visit this week-end. We ended up going to lunch at the Amana Colonies and then the kids wanted to check out the wine shops. They found a nice selection to take home for their collection.

Hubby and me. What a nice day it was!

I also took some pictures of some of my sunflowers, that I kept declaring for the past few years, that I was going to grow!

These are at the end of our lane and they are probably ten feet tall.

And here's one last photo especially for Karen and Sandy who live out of town. The latest flowers on the folks resting place. I found the metal ear of corn on a stalk at the Amanas.

Janene,
The pictures of your family were really nice, and you did the family marker very fall-like. Dad would have loved the ear of corn. I had to copy that picture off.

    Janene...

... was diagnosed with breast cancer on November 11, 2013. This is a place for all of the people who love and care about her to get the information about her treatment and her personal experience of kicking cancer's ass, (sometimes from her daughter's perspective). It's hard to stand by and not be able to do anything to help. Writing gives my mom an outlet and allows both of us to share information during this time. Therefore, we blog :)
