LIFE IS WORTH MUCH MORE THAN GOLD.

Well, I'm back from our little vacay to Vegas. Sis-in-law Nina and I had a wonderful time. The flights to and from were uneventful, which is always a good thing.

Can you guess where we stayed this time?

Hint.

One thing I couldn't bring myself to dine on this time is a hot dog. But I had my pic taken at the Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs place, and also at Pink's Hot Dogs just to tease my Jenna. Remember, she said hot dogs are made totally from assorted animals lips and assholes. I think that might be why I have lost my desire for that kind of food. Ya think?

Next we go to our pictures with statues. there's Herky at the airport. We also have Ebb and Flo from Harrah's that we visit every year. Then a cartoony showgirl.

Yeah, I know this is about as exciting as watching some stranger show you all their vacation home movies. Sorry. Let's continue. hehe

We saw Michael Jackson One Cirque du Soleil and also Legends. Both were really good.

We visited the older part of town and saw the light show on Fremont Street. Then we located a tattoo parlor and got tats. (for some reason nobody believes that we did it. After several texts between us and my daughter, I still could not convince her that I had gotten a LARGE sunflower on the back of my leg and Nina had gotten a tasteful grasshopper).  NOTE: we really didn't do it.

All in all, we have a great time. We didn't win any money, but like this post's quote says, LIFE IS WORTH MUCH MORE THAN GOLD.

    Janene...

... was diagnosed with breast cancer on November 11, 2013. This is a place for all of the people who love and care about her to get the information about her treatment and her personal experience of kicking cancer's ass, (sometimes from her daughter's perspective). It's hard to stand by and not be able to do anything to help. Writing gives my mom an outlet and allows both of us to share information during this time. Therefore, we blog :)
