FEELING A LITTLE CRAPPY TODAY

I'M INTERESTED IN WOMEN'S HEALTH BECAUSE I'M A WOMAN. I'D BE A DARN FOOL NOT TO BE ON

MY OWN SIDE.

Sorry, not feeling the best this morning. Evidently, the Neulasta shot is doing it's job, which is to stimulate growth of white blood cells in the bone marrow. This helps fight off any infections. But it kinda aches. Also, that darn Virtigo acts like it may be coming back for some reason. I had to lay flat on my back last night, and didn't dare turn my head to the right, or else I started to get really dizzy. I have to get another echocardiogram tomorrow, and unfortunately, I have to lay on my right side when it happens.. So that may be a little interesting to see if it pushes me into the full Virtigo experience again. YUK!

Hope everyone is staying warm and safe out there.

                                                                           GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Mom, maybe you should give Dr G's office a call and tell them about the vertigo - cant hurt for the people doing the procedure tomorrow to have a heads up about what you are experiencing. Sorry youre feeling cruddy :( ((HUGZ))

Sorry your not feeling well. Like my wonderful father in law always would tell us. "It will feel better when it quits hurting." That's that McBurney humor. Not so funny when your world is spinning.

I thought sense your not up to typing, I would give you a few stories that I remember as a kid about you.

The farthest I can go back would be when we had the terrible blizzard. 1978 I think.... We were snowed in and school was closed for what seemed a whole week. It was great but you can only do so much to entertain your self when your way out in the country and what 4 TV stations to watch. And those didn't come in so hot because of the rabbit ears wrapped with tin foil. I was so excited on one of the days, when no cars or trucks could get thru. Here came Aunt Janene and Uncle Lonnie on a snow mobile. I think that was probably the first time I was around one. I was amazed and had a blast getting to take a ride.

My other memories are just the little things. When ever I got to stay with my aunt and uncle, I loved it. My parents never kept pop around the house and if we did get any, it had to be a special occasion to get some. Not when I went to their house. They always had pop and we could have one when ever we wanted one. I was in heaven. Ice cold pop out of a bottle. Nothing better.

Another special treat at their house was Bundt cake. Aunt Janene always had a Bundt cake made. Chocolate with white frosting running down the sides. Moist and yummy. She can also make a mean batch of fudge. Every Christmas you could count on her to bring a batch of fudge.

I was always amazed and thought her house was so cool, because moist of her rooms were wall papered. A good coat of white paint is what I grew up with. When I finally got married and moved in my own house I had my wall papering aunt come help me put some up in my kitchen. She tried to explain how to do it, but I think it's one of those things you have to have a act for. It looked great when we were done.

Well, that's all I have for you. Hope others will throw a few on here too. Get some rest and feel better soon!!

    Janene...

... was diagnosed with breast cancer on November 11, 2013. This is a place for all of the people who love and care about her to get the information about her treatment and her personal experience of kicking cancer's ass, (sometimes from her daughter's perspective). It's hard to stand by and not be able to do anything to help. Writing gives my mom an outlet and allows both of us to share information during this time. Therefore, we blog :)
